MESOSPIM INAUGURATION DAY AT PARIS-SACLAY

Over the past decade, the co-development of tissue clearing methods and three-dimensional fluorescence imaging techniques for thick tissues has led to significant advances in the understanding of complex biological processes in health. Transparent, unsectioned organs and organisms can thus be imaged in their entirety at cellular resolution. However, few instruments are currently capable of imaging samples larger than 1 centimeter. In this context, the IERP unit of INRAE and LuMin of ENS have assembled the first open-source mesoscopic scale selective plane illumination microscope (mesoSPIM) in France, joining the MesoSPIM community !

IERP and LuMin are organizing an inauguration day open to all on June 6, 2025, at the INRAE Jouy-en-Josas campus. The event will bring together communities of biologists, physicists and mathematicians to promote advances in deep imaging of complex biological systems and data processing (AI, detection and identification of pathological profiles, integration of multimodal data, computer-aided diagnosis, etc.) for applications in animal and human health. These themes will be addressed during a morning of presentations followed by an afternoon devoted to practical training and exchanges, including poster session (Program).

Registration is free but mandatory and will allow access to the conference and demonstration.

Abstract submission for posters is open.
